Rebuilding Futures Alliance Recognised in Parliamentary Evidence Session on Prisoner Rehabilitation

Rebuilding Futures Alliance (RFA) received national recognition today during a session of the Welsh Affairs Committee in the UK Parliament, which focused on prisoner rehabilitation and pathways into employment.

During the session, Nick Millington OBE, Route Director for Network Rail Wales & Borders Route and RFA Board Member presented evidence to the Committee, highlighting the challenges faced by individuals leaving the prison system and the importance of sustainable employment opportunities in reducing reoffending rates.

RFA was mentioned as a clear and effective pathway for supporting people with previous criminal convictions to rebuild their lives through meaningful work. The initiative was recognised for its collaborative approach, working closely with employers, training providers, and support services to remove barriers and create long-term employment solutions.

This acknowledgment in Parliament underscores RFA’s growing impact in helping people transform their futures and contributes to the wider national conversation about rehabilitation, inclusion, and social responsibility.
