Help Rebuild Someone’s Future and Strengthen Your Organisation

Help Rebuild Someone’s Future and Strengthen Your OrganisationHave you ever considered that you could hold the key to helping someone rebuild their life? The UK has one of the highest reoffending rates in the Western world: one in two people will go on to reoffend after leaving prison. Yet when someone is given a job, that rate drops dramatically to one in five. Among care leavers, the picture is even more stark, 60% that leave the care system go on to offend. As an employer, offering someone a role and the chance of a career provides purpose, respect, and identity, powerful factors that help break the cycle of reoffending. Would you not want to be part of the solution to one of our country’s growing challenges?

“In a world of finite resources and shifting consumer values and choices, it’s time for a new contract between business and society where social value impact is considered across every department decision making.

The Rebuilding Futures Alliance (RFA) is a not-for-profit, business-led organisation dedicated to creating meaningful and sustainable employment opportunities for people with low-level past convictions. This includes young care leavers, who are significantly overrepresented in the justice system, accounting for 52%* of the male custodial population under the age of 25 and 61% of girls under the age of 18*.

In a fast-paced world shaped by evolving global challenges and changing consumer values, the RFA believes there is only one opportunity to deliver the right outcome: one chance for businesses to act responsibly and one chance to positively change a person’s life. When this is achieved, the impact extends far beyond the individuals involved, creating benefits that are truly generational.

Led by principal business consultants and independent think tanks, the RFA model is grounded in two years of research and evidence-based practice. This ensures that every employer receives the strategic support required to deliver successful outcomes for both their brand and their employees. The RFA brings together a powerful national alliance of respected charities and delivery partners, enabling smarter, more efficient pathways for employers to access a highly motivated and often overlooked talent pool.

To demonstrate what can be achieved when businesses actively address social challenges, the RFA, together with its technology partner, Genius, has developed a bespoke Automated Tracking System. This system ensures that no individual is left behind and that outcomes are consistently monitored. The resulting data insights are independently analysed by our academic partners, informing continuous improvement, celebrating collective achievements, and helping to influence future government policy and the development of inclusive corporate cultures.

Our award-winning partner organisations consistently achieve success rates of between 75% and 95%, often outperforming government-backed programmes and traditional recruitment agencies. These deeply rooted community organisations have operated independently for many years, frequently remaining unseen by employers seeking to build inclusive workforces that reflect both their brand values and the communities they serve.

The RFA provides the national coordination, visibility, and strategic support required to amplify their impact, helping to rebuild futures at scale across the UK.”

Corporate Membership Tiers

RFA offers three ways for employers to get involved.
Choose the option that aligns with your organisation’s goals, values, and capacity.

A Sponsor

By becoming an RFA Sponsor and play a leading role in creating employment opportunities for people rebuilding their lives. Your upfront contribution gives you access to valuable benefits, including discounted employment placements, bespoke data insights, brand visibility across RFA platforms, speaking opportunities at key events, and recognition as an Official RFA Sponsor. Sponsorship demonstrates true social impact leadership and positions your organisation at the forefront of meaningful, positive change and providing credibility and support for any future franchising bids.

An Employer

Employer Partners play a vital role in providing meaningful job opportunities for people ready to rebuild their futures. Each sustained placement delivers significant social value (with a single 12-month placement generating around £80,000 in impact, according to the RSSB/Loop Rail Social Value Tool). As an Employer Partner, you’ll receive brand visibility across RFA channels, bespoke social value insights, recognition as an inclusive employer, and opportunities to be featured in RFA case studies and media. You’ll also benefit from direct support with onboarding and retention, invitations to working groups and site visits, access to peer-learning forums, and use of the Official RFA Employer Partner badge.

A Supporter

If your organisation isn’t ready for sponsorship or employment placements, you can still make a meaningful difference through financial support. Your donation helps fund employment pathways for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds, creating life-changing opportunities. As a donor, you’ll receive tailored social value insights, invitations to key RFA events and working groups, optional access to workshops and peer-learning forums, and use of the Official RFA Supporter badge.

By working with RFA, your organisation becomes part of a forward-thinking network of employers committed to giving individuals a genuine second chance. Your involvement demonstrates real leadership in social impact, backed by robust data from our reporting tools that provide clear, measurable outcomes for you and your senior leaders. Partnering with RFA also strengthens your brand reputation through alignment with a trusted national alliance and other like-minded organisations, while giving you access to tailored insights that highlight your contribution to society. Most importantly, it enables you to confidently communicate your values to clients, stakeholders, and employees, showing that your organisation stands for opportunity, fairness, and meaningful change.
