Rebuilding Futures Alliance (RFA) is proud to have contributed to the Magistrates’ Association debate on reducing reoffending through employment-led interventions.
Our CEO, Gabriella Ellison, represented RFA in highlighting the critical role that sustainable employment plays in breaking cycles of reoffending, reducing economic inactivity, and supporting long-term rehabilitation. The discussion reinforced a message we see every day in practice: that meaningful employment is one of the most effective tools for creating lasting change.
RFA is a business-led, data-driven CIC working in partnership with employers and support organisations across the UK. Together with our growing network of partners, we are transforming the way employment support is delivered, creating structured pathways into work for individuals who face significant barriers to entering the labour market.
Our approach focuses on more than job placement. We work across multiple industry sectors to design inclusive recruitment pathways that align employer needs with social impact. This ensures that individuals are not only given opportunities but are supported to succeed and progress in sustainable careers.
The impact of this work resonates far beyond those directly engaged in our programmes. When individuals move into stable employment, the benefits extend to families, communities, and wider society, including improved wellbeing, reduced reoffending, and increased economic participation.
Through our data-driven model, we are able to evidence these outcomes and demonstrate the long-term value of employment as a preventative and rehabilitative intervention. By continuing to work with committed partners, RFA is helping to reshape the landscape of employment support and social value delivery across the UK.
